every year I take my wife on holiday somewhere really special and every year I try to improve on wherever we went the year before. It's not an easy thing to do year after years of holidays, and this year I was really struggling to come up with anywhere for us to go with real wow factor.
I started to have a look online to see if I came across anything that would give me a bit of inspiration. After a bit of hunting about I came across a blog with the ten best destinations in the world, and Dubai was right at the top. I had never even considered a holiday in Dubai before, but as soon as I saw the word I couldn't understand why I hadn't considered it before!
Dubai was as far as I was concerned one of the most spectacular places in the world. The man made structures that were being built were turning the place into the eighth wonder of the world. I had heard about a sever star hotel in Dubai, and I immediately started to investigate the truth behind it.
I would have loved to stay there but it cost a fortune! In the end I found a really impressive five star hotel designed with with a palm leaf as an inspiration, and I found some flights to Dubai. I couldn't believe that in only an hour or two on the internet I had pieced together a holiday that put anything we had ever done in the shade!
